VITEBSK, 12 July (BelTA) - The international press center of the 21st International Arts Festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk officially opened on 12 July, BelTA has learnt.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Information Minister of Belarus Dmitry Shedko, Director of the Vitebsk Culture Center, the head of the festival directorate Rodion Bass, and representatives of mass media of 15 countries.

“I am very glad that we have met here for the 21st time,” Rodion Bass said. “Although all festival events are still ahead, we can say that this year's festival is already a reality. This year we have scheduled more than 70 events. In fact, seven projects will be carried out every day. We have tried to bring as many celebrities as possible. We will see many well-known foreign singers, new names, many young talented artists who have their own solo projects. It is nice that many of them started their career here, with us. These are Pelageya, Maria Naumova and others,” Rodion Bass said and wished every success to the media.

Deputy Information Minister of Belarus Dmitry Shedko expressed confidence that the festival will be covered by the journalists who are already familiar with the festival.
