MINSK, 3 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko demands to enhance the technological and personnel discipline during the harvest campaign. The head of state gave a corresponding instruction during the working trip to Miory District, Vitebsk Oblast, on 3 August, BelTA informs.
“Technological discipline is essential. It makes no sense to operate at a loss without technologies. But the main thing is iron personnel and working discipline. You can attract anyone you want but people must fulfill their obligations, otherwise Vitebsk Oblast will flounder for decades,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
During the visit to OAO Turkovo in Miory District the president asked about the grain harvesting progress in Vitebsk Oblast and in the country. “If we harvest everything we have, and we will do it, we will satisfy the country’s demand for sure,” the head of state is convinced.
Alexander Lukashenko was briefed on the progress in the fulfillment of the state procurement contracts, conservation of fodder for the animal husbandry industry and use of progressive technologies for this purpose.
The president drew special attention to the provision of enterprises with necessary equipment, especially with Belarusian balers. “People should be taught to operate them during the winter. We should also help the enterprises buy them,” the head of state said. “This is a salvation for the country, not only for Vitebsk Oblast.”
