MINSK, 30 July (BelTA) – It is important to use the best practices of foreign partners and enhance cooperation in mineral exploration with them, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he listened to the report of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Minister Andrei Kovkhuto on 30 July, BelTA has learned.
“Many countries have abundant natural resources, and the leaders of these countries are interested in cooperation with us. These include Venezuela, Zimbabwe, other Latin American and African countries. We need to discuss these issues with all interested sides in detail, analyze the terms and advantages of cooperation,” the head of state remarked.
Alexander Lukashenko also said that it is important to prepare for the session to discuss the prospects of mineral exploration which will take place at the level of the president this year. In particular, the head of state stressed: “These are not ordinary events. These are very important issues which have an influence on the future wellbeing of our people.”
