MINSK, 30 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko extended Labor Day greetings to the Belarusians on 1 May, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that there is a good tradition to mark this holiday in Belarus with colorful celebrations and show profound respect to those who use their knowledge and talents to create the main values on Earth. “Thanks to the respectful attitude of our society to working people and to the aspiration to live in peace and accord, the state has been developing successfully giving every person the confidence about the future,” the President stressed.
“High qualifications of workers become even more important in the modern economy and serve as a reliable foundation for the wellbeing of our families. Today we need professional workers whose expertise and knowledge meet modern requirements,” noted the head of state.
The President expressed confidence that by joint efforts Belarusians will make their country stronger, turn it into a comfortable and attractive place. “May this wonderful holiday be a source of optimism and self-belief! May it stimulate further development and prosperity,” Alexander Lukashenko wished.
