Lukashenko extends Easter greetings to Belarusians

MINSK, 30 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko sent Easter greetings to the Orthodox Christians of Belarus on 1 May, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service.

On this great day people recall the saving sacrifice celebrating the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, life over death, the message of greetings says. “Easter instills faith, hope, and love in our hearts, makes us think about the noble mission of man. In such moments we strongly feel the need to be united, support each other, preserve spiritual values, restore and multiply rich traditions of our nation,” Alexander Lukashenko noted.

The Belarusian head of state wished Belarusians strong health, well-being and happiness and also Easter to bring peace and harmony to their families, give them the spring warmth and the joy of companionship, inspire them to do good deeds.
