MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) – Everything necessary will be done in Belarus to ensure the security of Belarusian families, the nation and the state. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement at the event held on 24 October to mark the 20^th anniversary of the foundation of the Belarus President Security Service, BelTA has learned.

“Don’t forget that even today, on the day of celebration we are on duty, ensuring the security of our state,” noted Alexander Lukashenko.

He also assured: “Our borders are inviolable and our nation can sleep a peaceful sleep”.

Addressing officers of the security service, the head of state underlined: “You stand close to the president, whose sacred duty is to inspire people for kindness, tenacity and courage. You do the same with your actions, deeds and attitudes. Don’t forget about it even for a minute. And remember you have no right to make errors or to behave improperly. We should be an example not only for the military but for the entire society”.
