Lukashenko: Belarus and Russia are forced to respond to world crises together

MOSCOW, 22 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia are not isolated from world crises and are forced to respond to them together in a timely manner. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he met with President of Russia Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin on 22 November, BelTA has learned.

Alexander Lukashenko stated that times are rather stormy now, with various crises rolling in from this or that side. “We are not isolated from it. There are tactical matters that need to address promptly,” said the head of state. Alexander Lukashenko said he was confident that he and Vladimir Putin would be able to make the right decisions just like they had done before.

The Belarusian head of state thanked Vladimir Putin for the idea to congratulate Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on his jubilee together before starting the negotiations in the Kremlin. “It was a good touch in relations between the two presidents, two friendly nations,” stressed Alexander Lukashenko.
