MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – Darya Domracheva dominated at the 10K Pursuit at BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 3 in Pokljuka, Slovenia on 20 December, BelTA has learned.
The Belarus number one, currently 2nd in the IBU World Cup standings, left the start line in the sixth position, 39 seconds behind Gabriela Soukalova of the Czech Republic. Darya Domracheva was fast to reduce the gap and left the first shooting range in the leading position. She kept it to finish in 29:55.9 with one penalty. Second was Finland's Kaisa Makarainen, one penalty, 10 seconds behind the winner. Ukraine's Valentina Semerenko came in third, 36.8 seconds back.
Belarusian Nadezhda Skardino shot clean to finish sixth, 1;15.7 back.
