Belarus continues to call for speedy resolution of conflict in UkraineMINSK, 11 February (BelTA) - Belarus continues to call for the speedy resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said when speaking at the international conference “One Year of Minsk-II Accords: Achievements, Challenges, Lessons Learned”, BelTA has learned.

According to the minister, the Belarusian side has always advocated the resolution of conflicts in a civilized manner, at the negotiating table, without resorting to military force, without exerting political and economic pressure. “We have had to deal with a policy of sanctions and restrictions on the part of our partners and we have always stated that such approaches are unconstructive and bring negative consequences,” Vladimir Makei said.
