MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Vladimir Arzumanyan from Armenia won the 8th edition of the Juniour Eurovision Song Contest held in Minsk.
Vladimir performed the song Mama which secured him the most votes from the European audience.
Vladimir made no secret of his dream to win the contest, and his dream came true.
The Juniour Eurovision Song Contest 2010 featured participants from 14 countries. The event was broadcast live on television and internet. The Minsk Arena is the biggest venue in history of the Juniour Eurovision. The final and two open rehearsals were attended by around 40,000 people. Opera diva Maria Guleghina specifically came to Minsk to participate in the activities of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
