70th anniversary of the Great Victory

NEW YORK, 28 September (BelTA) – On 28 September Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with Federal President of Austria Heinz Fischer, BelTA has learned.

The leaders of the two countries shared opinions about the most important aspects of the Belarusian-Austrian cooperation, including in the humanitarian field.

Heinz Fischer thanked the Belarusian head of state for the important steps to commemorate victims of World War Two and mentioned the opening of the Trostenets memorial.

Alexander Lukashenko invited the Federal President of Austria to visit Belarus in any convenient time.
