Spain’s ISB selected major broadcaster for 2019 European Games
MINSK, 29 January (BelTA) – Spain’s International Sports Broadcasting SL will organize televised broadcasting of the Second European Games that are scheduled to take place in Minsk in June 2019, Deputy Director of the 2019 Second European Games Directorate Anatoly Kotov told BelTA.
In his words, the preparations to sign the official contract are underway. The process will take some two months. Once all the necessary procedures are observed, the official agreement will be signed with the Spanish company.
Apart from International Sports Broadcasting SL, the interest in broadcasting the 2019 European Games was voiced by Medialuso-Mediapro (Portugal) and Match TV (Russia).
Representatives of the Directorate of the Second European Games, the National Olympic Committee, the National State TV and Radio Company of Belarus, and also other stakeholders have studied the proposals of all the applicants. During the selection the focus was made on a number of key factors, with price being one of them. The organizers also seek to have as many Belarusian specialists involved as possible to gain valuable experience. All three companies are ready to provide assistance to Belarus in the matter.
The Second European Games will take place in the Belarusian capital on 21-30 June 2019.
