Second European Games in Belarus

MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – About 20 tourist information points will work in Minsk during the 2^nd European Games 2019, Director of the Tourist Information Center Minsk Yelena Plis said during a session at the Minsk City Council on 8 October, BelTA has learned.

The information points will be located near sports facilities, hotels, fan zones as well as in souvenir stores in Upper Town and Trinity Suburb, at the railway station and National Airport Minsk. The information points will provide information about places of interest in Minsk.

A special section for tourists will be developed for the mobile application dedicated to the forthcoming 2^nd European Games 2019. The section will contain information about competitions, tourist attractions and transportation.

The 2^nd European Games will take place in Minsk on 21-30 June 2019. Over 4,000 athletes will compete in 201 medal events in 15 sports. The forum is expected to welcome about 18,000 official participants. The competitions will be broadcast in 160 countries.
