2nd European Games broadcast contract signed in Minsk

MINSK, 25 April (BelTA) – The Directorate of the 2nd European Games MINSK 2019 signed a broadcast contract with Spain’s ISB in Minsk on 25 April, BelTA informs.

“Experts were shown the facilities that have hosted international competitions before. Now we start working out a production program that will outline the key aspects in the organization of broadcasting, the number of personnel, including local specialists who will provide TV broadcasting. We plan meetings with the Belarusian broadcaster. The Belarusian television will provide technical infrastructure and we plan to involve as many Belarusian specialists as possible. I can assure everyone that together we will provide the European Games with the Olympic-level broadcasting,” said ISB Managing Director Manolo Romero.

As BelTA reported earlier, the International Sports Broadcasting (ISB) was chosen as the broadcaster of the forthcoming European Games MINSK 2019 in January 2018. The corresponding contract was signed on 25 April during the inspection visit of ISB representatives to Minsk.

The ISB team has gained vast experience as a home broadcaster at the world’s biggest sporting events, including the Olympic Games, various European sport forums, and the 2015 European Games in Baku.
