Ways to export more Belarusian products to Moldova discussed

Photo of the Embassy of Belarus in MoldovaCHISINAU, 4 October (BelTA) – A working group of the Belarusian Industry Ministry is in Moldova on a visit to discuss ways to export more Belarusian products in the country, representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in Moldova told BelTA.

The visit is scheduled for 2-5 October. The working group is led by Belarusian Deputy Industry Minister Dmitry Korchik. The group includes representatives of Eximgarant of Belarus, the Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ, the agricultural machinery manufacturer Gomselmash, and the lift manufacturer Mogilevliftmash. Ambassador of Belarus to Moldova Sergei Chichuk is expected to take part in the events.

The Belarusian delegation took part in the business forum Moldova Business Week 2017 on 3 October. Dmitry Korchik met with Moldovan Deputy Economy and Infrastructure Minister Vitalie Iurcu. Negotiations with representatives of the Chisinau city administration were held to discuss ways to expand Belarus’ participation in the implementation of municipal programs.

On 4 October the Belarusian embassy hosted a seminar involving representatives of Moldovan banks, leasing companies, assembly enterprises, and the dealers that sell Belarusian industrial products.

Negotiations between the Association of Mayors of Moldova, the Belarusian Industry Ministry working group, and top officials of the Belarusian embassy in Moldova took place in the city of Hincesti. The sides discussed ways to increase Belarusian export for the sake of satisfying needs of Moldovan regions.
