UN Secretary General emphasizes Belarus’ special place in multilateral diplomacy
MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) - UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres emphasized Belarus’ significant contribution and special place in multilateral diplomacy as he met with Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the UN Valentin Rybakov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed Belarus-UN cooperation prospects.
As BelTA earlier reported, Valentin Rybakov was appointed Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the UN on 7 August. He served as Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs before.
