State of Belarus-Iran relations discussed

MINSK, 21 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Mohammad Reza Sabouri on the occasion of the end of the latter’s diplomatic mission in Belarus, the Ministry’s press service told BelTA.

The sides exchanged opinions about the current state of Belarusian-Iranian relations and spoke in favor of continuing the joint work on the practical implementation of previously reached agreements in various fields, including those stipulated by the roadmap on advancing Belarus-Iran cooperation in 2016-2017.

Vladimir Makei thanked the Ambassador for the work Mohammad Reza Sabouri did as the head of the Iranian diplomatic mission in Belarus.
