MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – Serbia President Tomislav Nikolic is expected to visit Belarus in late October, BelTA learned from Dragomir Karic, member of the Serbian parliament, honorary consul of Belarus in Belgrade, on 22 June.
Dragomir Karic noted that shortly before the visit the first stone will be placed as part of the project to build the multifunctional center Minsk Mir, which is being implemented with assistance of Serbian companies.
The Serbian MP pointed out that for now Belarus-Serbia economic relations are not as developed as political relations. “But we follow them and political relations have opened the road for tighter economic cooperation,” noted Dragomir Karic.
