MINSK, 9 November (BelTA) – Parliamentary delegations of the Philippines and Angola will be invited to make an official visit to Belarus. The relevant decision was made at the session of the Council of the House of Representatives chaired by Speaker Vladimir Andreichenko on 9 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian parliament.
The members of the House of Representatives plan to to take part in the 50th plenary session of the Plenary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation in Ukraine, to attend meetings of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly in Russia, and to participate in a session of the interparliamentary commission on cooperation between the Belarusian and Armenian national assemblies in Armenia.
The Council of the House of Representatives accepted the proposals of the permanent commissions to update the agenda of the third session with some new draft laws, including the amendments to the law on Belarus’ international treaties. The MPs also intend to ratify several international agreements at the current session.
