MINSK, 15 June (BelTA) – The Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of the Belarus-Russia Union State will hold a meeting in Minsk on 15 June, BelTA has learned.

It is expected that the meeting will discuss the harmonization of the legislations of Belarus and Russia, the progress made in the implementation of the priority areas and overriding goals for the Union State development in 2014-2017 and also the development of a similar document for 2018-2022. Apart from that, MPs will talk over the issue of enhancing efficiency in the implementation of the Union State programs.

Attending the session will also be representatives of the Union State Permanent Committee, ministries and agencies of Belarus and Russia, international observers.

On 14 June the PA Council approved the agenda of the forthcoming session at a meeting in Minsk.
