MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei will take part in the 23rd meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council which will be held in Hamburg (Germany) on 8-9 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
“Vladimir Makei is scheduled to speak at a plenary meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council and to hold bilateral meetings on the margins of the event,” the press service noted.
According to the ministry, the OSCE Ministerial Council will discuss a wide range of issues across three OSCE dimensions: military-political, economic and environmental, and humanitarian.
The Ministerial Council meeting is the OSCE biggest annual event that takes stock of the current situation in the region, reviews the activity of the organization and outlines tasks for the near-term outlook.
