MINSK, 9 February (BelTA) – The promotion of the “integration of integrations” concept was discussed during the meeting between Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Ulf Schneider, Director General of SCHNEIDER GROUP, Co-Chair of the Working Group “Common Economic Space from Lisbon to Vladivostok”, on 9 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ulf Schneider outlined the goals and tasks of the working group set up in 2015 to promote dialogue and partnership between the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union, their member states and other countries in the region. The sides exchanged opinions on prospects of the working group and possible joint measures to promote the “integration of integrations” idea.

Vladimir Makei and Ulf Schneider also touched upon possibilities of cooperation with SCHNEIDER GROUP in the context of the intensification of Belarus-Germany trade, economic and investment cooperation.
