“We were happy to note the positive momentum in the Belarusian-German relations, the intensification of political contacts, and expansion of the thematic dialogue. Today we have summed up the results of the cooperation between Belarus and Germany over the past 25 years. Now we know how to move forward, in what areas to cooperate, and what to pay special attention to,” Vladimir Makei said.

The minister emphasized that the countries hold great potential for the development of bilateral cooperation, and it is necessary to make full use of these reserves for the benefit of the two countries and people.

During the talks the parties discussed a wide range of issues, including the development of the political and economic cooperation. Special attention was paid to the construction of the Trostenets Memorial in Minsk. “We hold sacred everything related to the Great Patriotic War.
