MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – China has never imposed preconditions for cooperation, Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei stressed in an exclusive interview with BelTA in the run-up to the 25th anniversary of the Belarusian-Chinese diplomatic relations.
“Whatever internal worries, we always do our best to enhance and promote our relations. Despite the great distance, China has always been a close partner for us. We have been building the relations on an equal footing gradually moving towards each other,” the Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
In his opinion, a shared vision of the major issues in the world remains an important factor in bolstering cooperation. This includes the indisputable supremacy of law in international relations, just world order, territorial integrity, inviolability of borders, non-interference in the internal affairs of other states, and independent choice of the development path.
