MINSK, 1 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Large-scale economic transformations, growing industrial potential, social stability, the international authority which has been enhancing in the years of independence are inseparably connected with modern Uzbekistan,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state is convinced that the active versatile cooperation, development of the interstate dialogue, further constructive interaction on the world arena fully meets the interests of Belarus and Uzbekistan.
