“The first issue is the situation in the Investigation Committee. You know that I am keeping an eye on the operation of the Investigation Committee. I would like to listen to your opinion and make sure it is in sync with mine,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

The president also asked about the progress in the investigation of criminal cases which he is keeping an eye on. “There are quite a few. There are many criminal cases of this kind. What is the progress in the investigation? Is everything honest, objective and fair?” he asked.

Besides, Alexander Lukashenko touched upon the cooperation of the investigation committees of Belarus and Russia. “When Alexander Bastrykin [chairman of the Investigation Committee Investigation Committee of Russia] was here we agreed on closer interaction between our agencies. You have held joint panel meetings, now tell me about your impressions,” the head of state added.
