Lukashenko hopes for closer ties with Philippines

MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte on the national holiday, Independence Day, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state pointed to the progress made in expanding bilateral ties and strengthening contacts in all fields.

The president noted that Belarus and the Philippines will keep working to promote the bilateral contacts.
