MINSK, 22 December (BelTA) – The government cannot adopt any bylaws on streamlining the doing business conditions in the country without consulting with business on the matter, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with representatives of the business community on 22 December, BelTA informs.
“Without the coordination with the Business Promotion Council, the government cannot adopt any bylaws. If there are disputes, let me consider them,” said Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the president, no one will be able to alter the adopted decisions by bylaws. “We will develop any bylaws together, the same way we worked on these documents,” the head of state assured businessmen.
Earlier Alexander Lukashenko set a task to complete the work on the liberalization of the business environment in the shortest possible time. “It is very important for us to develop a system to monitor the execution of normative-legal acts,” he said. Corresponding instructions have been given to the Presidential Administration and the State Control Committee.
“If there is a need in some bylaws, then we should adopt them. This work should not take long. We need to do it quickly,” the head of state said. The Business Promotion Council should be involved in this work, he noted.
