Lukashenko expresses condolences to Pakistan over terrorist attack victims

MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed condolences to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the people of this country over the Sehwan blast victims, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“It is with deep sorrow that I have learned the news about the heinous terrorist attack in Pakistan – the blast at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan,” the message of condolences reads.

The head of state remarked that terrorists are trying to frighten and disintegrate the society by committing terrorist attacks in sacred places of historical and cultural value and killing innocent people. “I am convinced that the people of Pakistan staying united in spite of everything will be able to combat the terrorist threat,” Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
