MINSK, 14 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain as the country celebrates the 70^th anniversary of Pakistan Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state remarked that sovereignty is the foundation of successful and productive economic, social, and cultural development of the state.

“We witness continuous transformation and growth of your country since independence. Today Pakistan is a state with dynamic economy which is vigorously expanding international contacts, developing the manufacturing sector, modernizing and building towns. I am pleased to note that thanks to our joint efforts the Belarusian-Pakistani cooperation in various fields is enhancing,” the message of greetings reads.
