MINSK, 27 October (BelTA) – The creation of infrastructure for the Belarusian nuclear power plant will be finished in 2018. The work will be financed by a government investment program, BelTA learned from Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Kalinin during the joint session of both chambers of the Belarusian parliament on 27 October.
The next year’s government investment program is being drafted now. The available money will be spent on vital projects. In particular, the money will be spent on completing the construction of infrastructure for the Belarusian nuclear power plant, on road infrastructure, land amelioration, preparations for the 1,000th anniversary since the foundation of the city of Brest, on social facilities, and civil engineering projects, which are nearly ready.
Once the infrastructure for the nuclear power plant is ready, it will be possible to resume the construction of the facilities, which are now on hold, said Anatoly Kalinin.
