Alexander Rogachuk underlined that for the time being the document is a protocol of intent to strengthen contacts, which concerns both sides. The two cities have a rich history and cultural heritage interesting both for Brest and Wuhan residents. Alexander Rogachuk and Tan Renjie also discussed logistics and the establishment of transport and logistics corridors. Summing up the meeting, Alexander Rogachuk remarked that the working visit of Wuhan’s representative is an opportunity to discover new ways of cooperation in different fields. “Every meeting of this kind is a little step in the right direction. If we manage to attract Chinese tourists to Brest, this will have a positive impact on the economy of our border city and will become another step towards strengthening our partnership,” the mayor noted.
