MOSCOW, 23 June (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko will pay a visit to Ivanovo Oblast, the Russian Federation on 24-25 June, BelTA learnt from the press service of the embassy.

The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission is set to meet with Governor of Ivanovo Oblast Pavel Konkov, Head of Ivanovo Administration Alexei Khokhlov. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ivanovo Oblast will host a meeting with the head of the chamber and businessmen of the oblast. The parties will discuss trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Ivanovo Oblast, talk over promising areas of cooperation.

The Belarusian delegation will visit the Belarusian Flax-Ivanovo company that offers the products of Orsha Flax factory, the Europe’s biggest producer of linen fabric in retail and wholesale.

Igor Petrishenko will also meet with representatives of the Ivanovo Oblast public organization of the Belarusian national and cultural center Krynitsa and the Ivanovo State Historical and Local Lore Museum.
