MINSK, 6 March (BelTA) – A delegation of the Joint Research Institute of Public Security Emergency Technology of Tsinghua University and Beijing Global Safety Technology Co., Ltd visited the national center for emergency management and response at the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry on 6 March, BelTA has learned from the ministry’s website.

“The representatives of the Chinese university signed an agreement on cooperation with the Civil Protection University of Belarus' Emergencies Ministry and the Research Institute of Fire Safety and Emergencies. Belarus’ Civil Protection University and Beijing Global Safety Technology Co., Ltd also signed a memorandum of understanding,” said Vitaly Novitsky, the official representative for the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry said.

The Chinese delegation visited Belarusian rescue units and discussed topical issues of cooperation in emergency prevention and response.
