MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – In pursuance of the agreements reached during the visit of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to Belarus, Ambassador of Belarus to Venezuela Oleg Pafenov met with Venezuela’s Vice President of Operations, co-chair of the Venezuelan part of the Belarusian-Venezuelan joint commission on trade and economic cooperation Ricardo Menendez on the initiative of the Belarusian embassy on 31 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The sides discussed the issues related to the development of relations between the two countries. The focus was on the preparation of the roadmap of the bilateral cooperation ahead of a meeting of the Belarusian-Venezuelan joint commission in late November 2017.
