MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) - Belarusian MPs will take part in the sessions of the PACE Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy that are due to take place in Strasbourg, France, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
Representing Belarus at the meetings in Strasbourg this year will be member of the Standing Commission on Education, Culture and Science of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Yelena Anisim and Chairman of the Standing Commission on Human Rights, National Relations and Mass Media of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, head of the National Assembly’s working group on studying death penalty as a punishment instrument applied in Belarus Andrei Naumovich.
The PACE Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy meetings will take place on 9-12 October.
