Preparations for the meeting are among the items on the agenda of the visit of Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko to Romania. The Belarusian diplomat will attend consultations between the foreign ministries of Belarus and Romania.

Oleg Kravchenko has already met with Alina Gorghiu, Deputy Chairperson of the Commission for Foreign Policy of the Senate of Romania. The parties discussed ways to step up interparliamentary cooperation, including collaboration in regional and international organizations.

Oleg Kravchenko also had a meeting with Cristian Dima, State Secretary of the Ministry for the Business Community, Trade and Entrepreneurship of Romania. The sides considered prospects for the development of cooperation between Belarus and Romania in economy and investments, and discussed matters related to the organization of the meeting of the Belarus-Romania intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation in Bucharest in autumn 2017.

The interaction among businessmen and the prospects for strengthening the cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries were the focus of talks during the meeting with Mihai Daraban, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania.

The meeting with Adrian Nastase, President of the Titulescu European Foundation, discussed the potential of the Belarus-Romania cooperation in science and education, and the prospects of implementation of joint projects and programs.
