MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) – Belarus and Lithuania can hold joint events to celebrate common historical dates and personalities, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Lithuania Alexander Korol said in an interview with The Baltic Times newspaper, BelTA has learned.

Alexander Korol noted that the two countries have a considerable potential to expand their cooperation in culture. “We believe it can be joint events to celebrate common historical events and major personalities who left a deep mark on the history of both countries. It can also be the discovery of new directions and names in this area of cooperation,” Alexander Korol said.
