MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Yermolovich met with Pakistani Federal Minister of Industry and Production Khan Jatoi in Islamabad on 12 April, BelTA learned from the Embassy of Belarus.

The parties considered mutual cooperation in industry. To illustrate the positive statistics, the parties mentioned the increase in shipments of the Belarusian tractors and tractor spare parts in 2017.

The parties also discussed the ways of boosting the mutual cooperation in industry. An agreement was reached to study the options of cooperation between relevant Belarusian enterprises and Pakistani surgical instruments manufacturers by means of setting up joint ventures in Belarus and promoting sales in Europe and Eurasia.

The Belarusian ambassador invited Federal Minister of Industry and Production Khan Jatoi to attend the TechInnoProm international expo of industrial technologies and innovations that will take place in Minsk on 29 May-1 June.
