MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Syed Tariq Fatemi, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current status of the Belarusian-Pakistani relations in political, trade and economic areas. Special attention was paid to the preparation of mutual visits at various levels and the events that are planned for the next months.

The parties expressed mutual interest in developing the contacts in order to keep up the momentum in the bilateral cooperation in a wide range of areas.
