MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – Belarus and France are determined to expand humanitarian cooperation, the Belarusian embassy told BelTA after a meeting between Belarus’ Ambassador to France Pavel Latushko and First Vice President of the Senate of France Philippe Dallier.
The parties noted the importance of setting up a joint Belarusian-French commission on economic cooperation, bilateral working groups on tourism and environment, intensifying interregional cooperation and expanding cooperation in the humanitarian sector.
The parties considered a wide range of issues related to bilateral relations, discussed the prospects of expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation, setting up a group of friendship with Belarus in the Senate of France, and also the assistance from MPs in trade, economic and investment cooperation and the development of the Belarusian-French cooperation in other sectors.
