MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) - On 19 May 2015 Belarus Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Guryanov met with a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to Russia and concurrently to Belarus Pablo Anselmo Tettamanti, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Argentinean delegation also included National Director for Bilateral Economic Relations Cristina Boldorini, Director of the Office for Eastern Europe Santiago Villalba, Advisor-Coordinator for Bilateral Economic Relations with Russia and CIS states Victoria Stoger Rodriguez.

During the meeting the parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation. Main focus was given to the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation taking into account the opportunities provided by integration potential of the Eurasian Economic Union and MERCOSUR.

The parties discussed ways of intensifying bilateral relations in political and humanitarian spheres.

The Ambassador of Argentina presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus.
