On Measures to Develop Production of Passenger Cars

With the view of attracting foreign investment to the Republic of Belarus for development of a passenger car industry in this country, President Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No 175 ‘On Measures to Develop Production of Passenger Cars’.

The idea is to encourage foreign manufacturers of passenger cars to open their assembly facilities in Belarus. The Decree provides for improving business conditions for production of passenger cars in Belarus compared to the conditions in free economic zones of Belarus and in the Russian Federation.
