MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) - Top executives of OAO Promagroleasing have visited Krasnodar Krai. A working meeting to discuss the establishment of long-term cooperation was held at Krasnodar Krai’s Ministry of Agriculture and Processing Industry, reads the Promagroleasing website, BelTA has learnt.

According to Director General of Promagroleasing Andrei Poznyak, the agricultural enterprises of Krasnodar Krai are familiar with Belarus-made agricultural equipment. This is why Promagroleasing is interested in leasing agricultural equipment to Krasnodar Krai as part of the international financial leasing mechanism. Leasing is a more beneficial and affordable loan system as compared to bank loans. First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of Krasnodar Krai Alexander Pogodin noted that Belarusian equipment has proved its worth: it is cheaper than equipment made by many foreign companies and is quite efficient. Alexander Pogodin said that the Belarusian side has good prospects of delivering its products to Krasnodar Krai as part of the international financial leasing mechanism.

The website also reads that on 3 February Russia’s Amur Oblast Governor Andrei Kozhemyako, who is currently in Belarus with the delegation from this region, visited Promagroleasing to discuss further supplies of agricultural equipment to Amur Oblast in line with international financial leasing contracts and consider cooperation prospects.

In 2013 Promagroleasing supplied 58 units of equipment to Amur Oblast worth over $6 million. The equipment was made by OAO MAZ - the management company of the holding company BelavtoMAZ, OAO Lidagroprommash and OAO Management Company of the Holding Company Lidselmash.

Founded in 2001, Promagroleasing is the national leasing company of Belarus. In 2009 the company was authorized to create a mechanism for international financial leasing to boost sales of Belarusian products in foreign markets. In 2010 OAO Promagroleasing started supplying Belarus-made equipment to the CIS, the EU, Georgia and Africa in line with international leasing contracts.
