GRODNO, 11 June (BelTA) – A Latvian investor will build a factory in Grodno to make interior design components, representatives of the administration of the free economic zone Grodnoinvest told BelTA.
The Latvian limited liability company Exportodri has been registered as a new resident company of Grodnoinvest. The company plans to implement an investment project to start manufacturing modern translucent frames and interior design details: custom-made wooden windows with one and double-glaze panes, finishing parts made of glass and aluminum, stairways, thresholds, doors, and footstalls.
The Latvian company intends to invest over €2 million in the project. The factory is being designed and will be located in a former military camp in the village of Novaya Gozha near the city of Grodno.
The company plans to start manufacturing products in 2013. The project will allow creating about 30 jobs.
Founded in 2002, the free economic zone Grodnoinvest is now home to 92 resident companies that employ about 16,500 people. The payback period of the investment projects implemented in FEZ Grodnoinvest varies from 2 to 2.5 years. The average profitability of products is 24.1%, with the total monthly output close to €40 million.
