MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) - Hanoi Trade Corporation (HAPRO VIETNAM) shows interest in promoting Belarusian products to Vietnam, BelTA learned from the National Center for Marketing of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The delegation of the Hanoi Trade Corporation is set to visit Belarus to find strategic partners for business development in the trade sector. The corporation shows interest in Belarusian trading networks, producers and importers of agriculture produce and products of primary processing. The corporation is also interested in organizing long-term projects to promote Belarusian products to the Vietnamese market,” the center said.
Belarusian enterprises will be able to discuss cooperation prospects with the corporation at the National Center for Marketing on 14 September.
Hapro is a large Vietnamese state corporation. Its turnover is about $400 million. The corporation sells to more than 70 countries. Among its primary lines of business are import and export of food products, investment and construction of commercial buildings.
In January-June 2018 Belarus-Vietnam trade totaled $63.1 million, including $38.8 million in exports and $24.3 million in imports. Belarus’ main exports include potash fertilizers, trucks, tractors, haulers, tires, polyamides, special purpose goods, engines, pharmaceutical products, goods from metals, meat, dairy and alcoholic beverages.
