MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) – Belarus plans to set up an intellectual logistics system with assistance of the Chinese Corporation ZTE, BelTA learnt from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee (SSTC).
The project was discussed at the recent meeting between SSTC Chairman Igor Voitov and Senior Vice President of ZTE Corporation Pang Shengqing. The project is designed for 15 to 20 years. It also might include the creation of a holding company.
“During the meeting the representatives of the company noted that ZTE has gained a considerable experience in cooperation with Belarus which can be more expanded and deepened by the creation of an intellectual logistics system that is able to develop the entire geographic potential of the country,” the press service said.
Igor Voitov noted, for his part, that development of logistics systems and management of the information and transport flows are among Belarus’ priority areas of development in the coming years. The Belarusian side including SSTC is ready to provide all possible support in implementation of the project.
