MINSK, 8 January (BelTA) – Belaruskali hit record-high output of potash fertilizers in 2014. That year the company produced 10,336,500 tonnes of fertilizers, up by 48% compared to 2013, BelTA learned from the press service of the company.

In 2014 the company produced 44,990,000 tonnes of ore. The production of granular potash at flotation mills of the first, second and third mining departments made up 60% of the gross output. For the first time the production of compound fertilizers made up 181,700 tonnes.

Belaruskali is one of the world’s biggest producers and exporters of potash fertilizers. The company sells to 80 countries worldwide.
