MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian mechanical engineering company MTZ intends to increase local content in manufacturing processes at premises of the enterprise MTZ-ElAZ in Russia’s Tatarstan, BelTA learned from the MTZ website.

Ways to expand cooperation were discussed when an MTZ delegation led by Director General Fyodor Domotenko met with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in the city of Kazan.

Apart from increasing the use of local content at MTZ-ElAZ the sides also discussed cooperation options for making agricultural machines, including various tractor models.
