MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) – The government of Belarus will inform domestic and foreign investors of the measures taken in the country to improve business doing conditions. This theme will be the key one at a session of the permanent committee at the Advisory Council for Foreign Investments (ACFI) under the Council of Ministers, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
The session of the ACFI permanent committee will be chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov. The participants of the session will get an opportunity to get the first-hand information about the changes in the Belarusian laws on investments in 2009-2010.
The list of speakers includes senior officials of the Ministry for Taxes and Duties, State Customs Committee, Economy Ministry, National Bank, State Committee for Standardization, Foreign Ministry, and the Interior Ministry. The agenda includes the issues regarding the formation of the Customs Union, amendments to the tax legislation, price formation and others.
The event will be held with assistance from the Ernst&Young company, ACFI coordinator on the part of foreign companies and international organizations, and also with the support of the International Finance Corporation, cochairman of the task group for improving the investment legislation at ACFI.
